How we run it
Cold chain that holds
The risk with refrigerated freight is not the driving — it is the gaps. Product sitting on a dock, a vehicle that was not pre-cooled, or a delay nobody told you about until the goods were already at risk.
We handle it the other way around. Before we accept the booking we confirm what you are moving, the temperature it has to hold and the access at both ends. The vehicle is pre-cooled before pickup. If anything changes mid-run, you hear from us while there is still time to make a decision.
- Chilled or frozenChiller vans run 0°C to +8°C for chilled work. Our 8t refrigerated truck runs −20°C to +8°C, so frozen and chilled are both covered.
- The right vehicle, confirmed firstWe check the load, the temperature band and dock access before accepting the job — so the vehicle that turns up can actually do it.
- Direct contact, not a queueYou deal with the person who understands your booking. If a run is running late you get told early, not after the fact.

What temperatures can you carry?
Chiller vans hold 0°C to +8°C, which covers most chilled product. The 8t refrigerated truck runs from −20°C to +8°C, so it handles frozen as well as chilled. Tell us the band your product needs and we will confirm the right vehicle before booking.
Can you do same-day refrigerated runs?
Often yes, subject to vehicle availability. Refrigerated vehicles are a smaller part of any fleet than dry vans, so the earlier you call the better your chances. Use the planner for an indicative price, then call us to confirm availability.
How is refrigerated transport priced?
The same transparent way as everything else we do: the distance of your route, the vehicle required, and realistic time for us to reach the pickup and to load and unload. Refrigerated vehicles cost more to run than dry vans, so the rate is higher — but the calculation is the same and you see the estimate before you commit.
Do you deliver to warehouses and distribution centres?
Yes. Tell us the site and any dock or booking requirements when you enquire so we can allow the right amount of time.
